The Village Building Co. and its subsidiaries form an experienced, successful and reputable residential property development group. The Company first commenced operations in 1988 as a land developer primarily supplying member builders with serviced land in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). The Company has since expanded its areas of operation and target markets and, in addition to its Canberra base, has permanent offices in Wollongong and Brisbane. It employs 31 full-time employees, including its own sales team and a professional staff who manage all phases of project acquisition, planning, development, cash flows and financial reporting, marketing and sales. It undertakes projects both in its own right and in joint venture with land owners and/or project-specific investment syndicates.

Existing VBC projects are quality residential estates and unit developments. As the lifestyles and expectations of Australian home buyers change, greater emphasis is now placed on the delivery of the final built form to the market as opposed to vacant land.
